What do you do?
I teach English at Western Washington University and write books about forgotten women writers. For a few years now, my research has centered on Bellingham’s own once celebrated Pacific Northwest writer Ella Higginson.
What do you love about this area?
I love so much about Bellingham but if I had to choose I’d say that I most love breathing the same air, walking the same paths, and enjoying the same gorgeous natural surroundings that Ella Higginson once did.
