What do you do for a living?
I am a Lecturer at the University of Washington Bothell, School of Nursing and Health Sciences. I love teaching and learning with students. I also serve as a WWU Board of Trustee and as a Board of Director at Brigid Collins - and - Planned Parenthood VOTES GNW&HI. My favorite job is being a mom and wife. Life is good!
What do you love most about living in this area?
The people for sure! There is such a strong sense of community engagement here and the wonderful friends I’ve gained from community work mean the world to me. Of course the physical beauty can’t be beat and I particularly love the close proximity to Vancouver and Seattle. Bellingham has been a great place to raise a family and build life-long friendships — so grateful for all that Bellingham has given us!
