Diaries of an Intern: LPM

This morning Stacy and Cassidy drove me up to the Lynden Pioneer Museum for a location scouting adventure fueled by our trusty Avenue Bread coffee. We rarely have a meeting more than a five minute drive to one of their locations. Little did I know what I would find up there at the LPM... Cue Parks and Rec theme song.

This place is a little universe. It's a historically accurate replication of downtown Lynden. Everything in the museum has obviously been meticulously curated by people that truly care about this place and its history. It's honestly amazing. The amount of detail they include is mind blowing. Like check out this old timey kitchen. How freaking cool is that.

This is where most of our filming of Just Like The Men will go down. It's perfect because the setting is early 1900s small town America. LPM embodies the vibes of old Americana in the best, most real way. Ella would feel right at home.

Also, while you're up there don't forget to hit up the skating rink and show off your rad neon leggings. We're just over here bringing back history-- 1900s lady power in the form of Ella Higginson and 1990s blindingly bright fashion and roller babe moves.
